Starting to make Sunmeld
The first journal post. What Sunmeld is, and why this journal exists.
This is the first post in the Sunmeld journal. Sunmeld (Space Merge Duel) is a merge duel where you play against an AI opponent, and it is in development for iOS and Android.
What the game is
You and the AI take turns dropping space stones into one shared tub. When two stones of the same stage touch, they merge into the next stage, from dust up to a sun, and the player who causes a merge scores it. If the tub overflows, the player who placed the last stone loses.
Why a journal
We will use this journal to share notes from the making of the game. For now, this is the starting line.
What is next
Sunmeld is planned as free to try, with a single purchase that unlocks the rest and no ads. There is no release date yet. When there is news, it will show up here and in the release notes.
